“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”Romans 10:17

Now that we have made our commitments to the Lord, the enemy will do all he can to attack and discourage us. We must stand strong in the faith that comes by hearing God’s Word. I want to encourage you to put these five scriptures to memory, so you can speak them and keep your faith strong.

Philippians 4:19 NIV: “And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 6:33 NIV: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Luke 6:38 NIV: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV: “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”

Joshua 1:8 NIV: “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything writtenn in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Prayer: Father, I believe that I have been obedient to You in my commitments and giving. I stand strong in faith that You will bless me, enabling me to fulfill my vow.

Prayer Target: Prayer of Thanksgiving for all that God has done for us!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Ephesians 3:20

Deep down inside, don’t you feel as though God has called you to something beyond, “normal?” It is one of those inherent, essential qualities that God has put inside our hearts. We have this inward knowledge that our lives are supposed to be about something great. But figuring out what that, “something greater” is, can be difficult. Are you at that place in life where no matter what you have, who you know, or what you have accomplished, there is still an unquenchable desire for something more? That hunger and thirst are for the extraordinary life, the life God put you on this earth to live. God has invested a unique portion of Himself in you so that you may bring an expression of Him to the earth. You are not insignificant! You are alive to accomplish a particular purpose that God created you to fulfill. God, according to His own counsel, determined for you a certain distinct individual destiny and put in you the potential needed to realize that destiny. You have been distinguished by God Himself to accomplish infinitely more than you could ever dare to ask or hope.

Prayer: Help me to value more the unique person You made me to be. Protect me from comparing myself to others. I accept myself, faults and all, just as You have accepted me.

“… for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

If someone ever tells you that you get the short end of the deal by being a giver, tell them to think again. Take a look at these rewards scripture promises to the giver.

1. You will prosper. (Prov. 1:25.) That’s much beer than the alternative.

2. You will be refreshed and encouraged by other people. (Prov. 11:25.) We all need this at different points in our lives.

3. You will get back whatever you give, but it will come back bigger & better. (Luke6:38)

4. God personally sees to it that you receive your reward. (Eph.6:8.)

5.Youwillbefloodedwithgoodthings. (Mal.3:10.)

6. You will have supernatural protection over your finances. (Mal. 3:11.)

7. You will have treasure in heaven that no one can take away. (Luke 18:22.)

Take hold of these rewards available to you by being a giver. As we celebrate God’s provision in our services this weekend you need to know that God is wanting to celebrate His blessings over you as well!

Prayer: Lord, thank You for blessing our service tomorrow and meeting every need of our church and in my life as well. You are so good!!

Prayer Target: For a spirit of generosity upon the people of Life Fellowship Church.

“Bring the whole the into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” Mal 3:10

Today, we have brought our offering commitments to the Lord and it is important that we continue to honor God with our regular thing in order to sustain the mission of the church. There are really more than three reasons you should the.

1. God says if we don’t, we’re robbing Him. This doesn’t sound like a very good idea, does it… to try to rob God? Do you think God is going to bless a thief who is robbing Him?

2. God said that if we do what He says, He will flood us with blessings. It sounds like a good thing to be flooded by God’s goodness. Get your boat ready for God’s good flood.

3. God will work His pest control on anything that will try to attack your finances. Some people lose great financial crops because of pests, accidents, the, and so forth. Use pest control by tithing.

God says, “Test me in this.” Put Him to the test. Honor Him with your tithes, and watch the blessings flow your way.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for enabling me to fulfill my commitment to You in my tithes and offerings. As You give me the power to acquire wealth, I will not rob You of what belongs in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayer Target: For God’s anointing upon our, “Commitment Sunday” services.

“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.” 1 Timothy 6:18

Whether we know it or not, by the standards of today’s world, each one of us is rich. Most of us who have jobs make more money in one month than most people in 3rd world nations can make in one entire year. God has given us responsibility with the accumulation of our wealth. He has asked us to have willing hearts to share.

As we approach, “Commitment Sunday” where we bring our pledges and first-fruits offerings to the Lord, I want to remind you of a couple important principles.

First, bring your gis to the Lord not out of compulsion or fear, but out of a willing and thankful heart. Second, if you are married, come to an agreement together on what you should give after carefully praying and talking together. And lastly, bring your gi in a spirit of faith, expecting God to bring a harvest in your life, your home, and your work.
Let’s agree in prayer that Sunday, February 17th, will be a, “Miracle Weekend” in the history of Life Fellowship Church!!

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for blessing my life with all the riches that we enjoy in this world You have created. I open up my heart to share what You’ve given me to help reach those who need You.

Prayer Target: To see our first-fruits offering on February 17th to reach or exceed $750,000.

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant.” Deuteronomy 8:18

Here and in eternity, God’s nature is to reward. He supplies our needs in this life, He blesses the generous giver, and He promises eternal rewards. Jesus famously declared, “If you give, you will receive. Your gifts will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together, to make room for more, and running over.”

Scripture is clear that giving is a part of a whole-life transformation that is reflected in our stewardship. One of the ways we release the flow of God’s power in our lives, and establish His covenant in the earth, is through our giving.
God’s power, “to get wealth” is found in the seeds that He has given us to sow. Therefore, our harvest is found in the seeds we cheerfully scatter. Again, our harvest in life depends entirely upon the seeds that we bountifully sow. As we are led by God’s Spirit in this area, God encourages us not to grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Prayer: Father God, You’ve given me from Your limitless reserve of resources, so for me to give to others is merely a joyful distribution of Your riches. By Your grace I take responsibility for my church and what You have called us to. Amen.

Prayer Target: To reach or exceed our financial goal of $2.5 million over the next 3 years.

“There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich.” Proverbs 11:24-25

Displaying a life of generosity is the single greatest act of faith that declares, “My future is brighter than my today!” When we are generous in our giving, we are giving according to our destiny, not according to our history. If we give based on where we have been, we may never get to where we are supposed to be going. Does the giving of your me, talent, and treasure reflect your history, or your destiny?

Isaiah 32:8 declares, “A generous man devises generous things, and by generosity he shall stand.” Thus, the fruit of generosity is the, “ability to stand.” Generosity gives us strength and power to stand in this day of uncertainty. Selfishness actually causes us to be weak, powerless, and unable to stand.

It should be noted that the word, “generous” in Isaiah can also be translated, “noble.” In Bible mes, a person of noble birth was expected to be generous and unselfish. As Christians, we too are of noble birth. We are sons and daughters of the King of kings. As such, we are to be free from selfishness and live a life of generosity.

Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes it seems all backwards. Please continue to teach us to trust You and to love others through being generous with what we have.

Prayer Target: God’s guidance for each person for their part in the “Legacy” Campaign.

“For I am about to do a brand new thing. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?” Isaiah 43:19

The question before the members of Life Fellowship Church is not, “Is God doing a new thing?” The question is, “Do you see the new thing God is doing?” We must recognize, understand, and be open to what the Holy Spirit is doing in our midst. We are being called to go from one level of faith to the next. Let us see, embrace, and appreciate this process.
Every one of us started out this spiritual journey as babes in Christ. When we were in spiritual infancy the focus of our walk was on, “survival.” After infancy, we grew into childhood where our focus shifted from simply surviving to “learning.” Just as a child moves into the teenage years, our spiritual walk transitions into adolescence where the focus is all about, “self.” This is OK for a season but God has called us into maturity whereby we grow up and move from being spiritual consumers to Kingdom contributors! Life Fellowship Church has been given a mission to build a church that is irresistible to the families of North Dallas. This is a new opportunity that each of us have a chance to be a part of from the ground floor!

Prayer: God our Father, I repent of my unbelief and apathy. Your grace saved me, and I know You can do anything. Increase my faith – Your faith – to see the expanse of Your love and its capacity to turn hearts back to You. Amen.

“The Lord will bless you … and you shall be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2

Everything God does, He does for a purpose. He doesn’t just do things just because He has nothing else to do. God didn’t bless our lives with gifts, talents, and resources without an intended purpose. His purpose was so that we could take what He has blessed us with and in turn be a blessing to others.

We sometimes need to be reminded that being a part of God’s family is not about us getting what we want. Being a Chris an is not about us taking our dreams and presenting them to God to have Him bless them. We are to find out what God desires for us and align our lives to His vision. When we do, it is amazing how He will place certain desires in our hearts and then fulfill those desires He gave us. This is always displayed in us through a life of giving.

The reason Jesus said that, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” is because in order to give, we must have first received. Being blessed is one of the benefits of being a child of God. If we are always in a position where we have nothing to give, how can we be a blessing?

Prayer: Father, I want to be like You, that when I see a need, instead of criticizing, I lay down my life for it. Lord, forgive me for my lack of prayer and the weakness of my love. Heal me and empower me to be a blessing. Amen.

Prayer Target: People to come to Christ in North Dallas (specifically your city)

“To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven … And He changes the times and the seasons.” Ecclesiastes 3:1; Daniel 2:21

Have you ever thought about how God created times and seasons to govern His creation? God established the seasons of nature by dividing them into four distinct times of year: winter, spring, summer, and fall. And He has a reason for each one of these seasons: winter gives everything a chance to rest and rejuvenate after all the activity; newness of life comes forth in the spring; stability and maturity are established in the summer, and autumn is the season to reap and prepare for the winter when not much is happening. We can look at these seasons to better understand how God works to bring forth His will in our lives. In every area of our lives, God is moving according to a particular season. These seasons are constantly in motion, and they vary one to the other. It is important for us to identify what season we are in. The scripture tells that there is, “a me to build…” and that is the season God has called us to right now as a church. Building seasons are times of investing resources, working together, and taking brand new ground in order to accomplish what lies ahead. Let’s embrace this season for Life Fellowship Church!

Prayer: Oh God, as I step out in faith without having all the details nailed down, show me the difference between a foolish decision and a faithful decision. Thank You for granng me the courage to embrace the season I am in.

Prayer Target: The public and private schools in your city.
