Navigating our Journey

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Mat 25:21; 23

The Christian life is the ultimate journey. It is the greatest adventure that we can experience in this life. To serve the King of kings is the noblest cause that anyone can have. Every Christian has a, “calling” that is greater than any earthly office or position. Before we start any journey, it helps to know our desired destination. If we don’t know where we are going, we will experience a lot of confusion and frustration in our quest. What is our destination? Our destiny is simply to please God. We must understand that there is no greater fulfillment than hearing those words from our Lord Jesus on that great Judgment Day, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.” We all start out the Christian walk by looking for blessing and treasures. But our high call is not to, “find” treasure; we were created to, “be” a treasure to God. Have you embraced your reason for being here on this earth? Ultimately, our purpose in Christ comes down to this – not the blessings that we have received, but the blessing that we have been to our Lord and others.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, a new season always brings a sense of freshness, of new possibilities, and of discoveries yet to come. I look forward to experiencing what is ahead, knowing that You will lead me into the good purposes You have planned for my life. I ask You for courage, strength, and faith to meet every challenge in this journey. Amen.

Prayer Target: President Donald J. Trump, VP Mike Pence, and Sec. of State Mike Pompeo.
